Beauty of the Bahamas: Celebrating a Lifelong Commitment
Our Last stop on the cruise: Half Moon Cay, Bahamas.
This stop was by far Dave’s and my favorite. We enjoyed strolling on the ultra white sandy beaches, swimming in the turquoise clear water, having a wonderfully prepared meal on the island and reminiscing about the wonderful cruise we had with our dear friends, the Hayes and the Burkes.
Yes, I did go over my notes from Sunday School!
We also found time to just be by ourselves and enjoy each other’s company; after all we have only had 50 years to find out about one another.
We had a wonderful and meaningful 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. How did we keep our marriage vibrant for 50 years? We try to put God first, choose to be more about giving than receiving, remain firm in our commitment to our marriage vows, and always communicate.
