Homemade Cheese DanishThis is the best homemade cheese Danish! About five years ago when our twins were born in December, my friend Diane MacDonald brought us a Christmas Eve dinner that was delicious, and to my surprise she brought two extra dishes for us to enjoy Christmas Morning. One of them was this Cheese Danish and the other was the Breakfast Casserole also included in this issue. I asked Diane to share the recipes with me and we have been making them in our family ever since then. They are great for a weekend brunch for the family, or a make'ahead treat for guest. I hope you enjoy them!
Ingredients:

Beat the egg WHITE until thick and brush it on the top layer of crescent roll before baking. Cool then top with powdered sugar mixture. Let set in refrigerator for several hours or best overnight." - Diane |
