Vicks Vapor Rub Works
Ok guys-- I am a firm believer in Vicks. My sisters and I grew up using it in the winter for stuffy noses and chest colds. My mother and grandmother rubbed it on the middle of our chests and under our noses. We always felt much better and slept much sounder.
Other family members claim additional medicinal benefits with comments like, "It helps my cracked hands and fingers. It is also the only thing that lets me breath at night."
But recently, my aunt Jeanette has shared this tip with me for another use of the trusted Vicks Vapor Rub.
This will sound nuts - but they suggest that I rub Vicks Vapor Rub on the bottoms of my feet and put socks on before going to bed to settle my terrible cough. Our relative had such a bad cough, that she tried it out of desperation and said it worked almost immediately.
So, give it a try! You may be surprised.
