Broccoli Salad This is a great recipe for summer and fall. I like to serve it as a side dish for dinner or as a party dish. It has many healthful ingredients and it’s very flavorful. The best thing is that’s not very hard to make at all.
Ingredients:
- broccoli florets
- real bacon slices crumbled
- mayonnaise
- peanuts
- raisins
- chow mien noodles
Directions:
- Break broccoli into small bite-size pieces (approx. 4 cups).
- Cook bacon slices (approx. 4) and crumble.
- Add heaping teaspoon of mayonnaise (to desired consistency).
- Add peanuts (handful—I use the salted Planters peanuts).
- Add raisins and chow mien noodles (I use a handful of each).
Recipe will serve about a dozen people.
