Poem: Promise is Born
The divine harnessed within a tiny babe
Human form created to encase the Creator
Kingly rights laid aside for a moment in time
Held at bay by shear desire
To fulfill the Father’s will
Breathless silence filled the universe
As all waited to hear the first cries of Hope
Prophecy fulfilled would not go unnoticed;
A star was chosen to lead the way
Angles were assigned to herald the event
As heaven gave up their King
And earth beheld The Promise
