Jacob's Prayer
I talked with my daughter Rachel the other day and she told me a cute story about her three-year-old son, Jacob who had an unusual prayer request while taking a bath.
While Rachel was getting ready, her older son, Ronnie, was attending to Jacob in the tub. He noticed that his little brother had been scratching a rash on his chest.
Ronnie told Jacob that the rash was from mosquito bites and teased him that if he kept scratching it, he would turn into a mosquito.
A few moments later, Rachel heard Jacob praying with great intent, “Dear Jesus, please don’t let me turn into a bosquito. Amen!”
