Sisters: RINGing With Love
My parents were blessed with four daughters within seven years. After a couple boys, they were blessed with yet another daughter. Needless to say, they have endured much from us five sisters -- countless outfit appraisals, pop band formations, piano recitals, prom dress shopping, petty fights, clothes stealing, shower claiming, and bathroom hogging. Now, at 23, 22, 20, 18, and 13, we’ve finally begun to master the art of being best friends. We learned the beautiful thing about sisters – they’re permanent BFFs.
The five girls with my Dad, Christmas 2011
For Christmas 2011, my parents decided to give us something that truly showcased the bond between sisters. They found a ring online that allows the costumer to choose and place five birthstones, and the ring also includes the word, “sisters.”
For our rings, we put the birthstones in birth order from left to right, and we all decided to wear them on the same finger. Our oldest sister, Taylor, lives in Houston, Texas, so these rings remind us that even when we’re not all five together, we’re still wearing our profession as “sister” visibly and proudly.
Don’t have sisters? These rings are also ideal for a group of friends who share a special bond. As Christians, we have the joy and privilege to have sisters in Christ! Find those women, and make your sisterhood official!
You can purchase these rings ON SALE at www.limogesjewelry.com. Instead of $69.99 per ring, pay only $39.99 per ring, and get free shipping on orders over $60.00.
