Bacon, Broccoli and Farfalle AlfredoI recently found this recipe on www.hormel.com and it sounds fast and delicious. I’m planning to try it this week.
Ingredients:
- 1 (12-ounce) package bow-tie pasta, cooked, drained and rinsed
- 1 (2.1-ounce) package Hormel® Fully Cooked Bacon, coarsely chopped
- 1 (10-ounce) package frozen broccoli in nonfat butter sauce
- 1 (16-ounce) jar roasted garlic Parmesan cheese sauce
Directions:
- In microwave-safe casserole, combine bow-tie pasta and bacon.
- Microwave broccoli according to package directions. Stir broccoli in butter sauce into pasta mixture.
- Heat Parmesan cheese sauce according to package directions; gently fold into pasta mixture. Cover casserole. Microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH (75%) 1 minute.
Notes:
If you'd like, add sliced ripe olives, chopped pimientos or toasted pine nuts for extra pizzazz.
