Great Hostess Gifts Made Easy!

Visiting others and staying in their homes is an opportunity for great times of fellowship. We can bless others with our presence and cheer and be blessed by their kind hospitality.

Taking with you a small token of your appreciation for their warm hospitality is considered appropriate and thoughtful and is a sign of good manners!

In a day when people forget social graces, it’s nice to participate in some of the delightful ways to express social gestures of warmth and kindness!

But sometimes it’s a challenge to find just the right thing that might fit their personal taste and décor as well as your luggage. Thinking of something both practical and frugal can be tricky.

Being prepared is the key! But how? Here’s an idea I just discovered that might be helpful!

Hand pump soaps from a store like Bath and Body Works are a great idea. The store in our shopping mall offers the antibacterial, micro-bead scrub hand soap for bathroom or kitchen, or the foaming soap version. They were running a special for five items for $15--which makes them just $3 each. Very frugal and very thoughtful at the same time!

What I loved about it, is that they also gift-wrapped them for me, right in the store! They put each one into a little clear cellophane bag and tied a pretty red ribbon on it! So they are ready to go for our trip and when we arrive, I will be prepared and at ease, and the hostess will be surprised and blessed!

Minding your manners just gets easier and easier!
