Nag's Head's Easiest, Best Ever Clam ChowderI love this delicious clam chowder recipe, given to me by my dear friend, Ann Hayes. It's a little taste of life at the beach that you can enjoy all year!
Ingredients:
- 1 46oz can clam juice
- 1 51oz can chopped clams
- 1 ½ bag Orida breakfast, cubed frozen potatoes
- 1 large onion, chopped
- ½ lb. bacon
- 3 Tbs. thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Fry bacon in large pot.
- Add chopped onions, sauté.
- Add frozen potatoes and clam juice.
- Cook until potatoes have thawed.
- Add thyme.
- Add chopped clams to mixture heat just until completely hot. DO NOT OVERCOOK.
