Julie Strohkorb

Julie Strohkorb

Julie Strohkorb travels back and forth from the islands of the South Pacific to the shores of Virginia, exploring cultures and learning the new language of faith in God.  Her family’s unique multicultural experience has sprung from her husband’s calling overseas as a physician, and her own interest in the welfare of the international church.  What does it mean to be a Christian in modern society?  How do we pass on our values to our children?  Where is God in the midst of crisis?  Join Julie as she explores these and other current issues on a woman’s plate – the kinds of topics discussed with her husband and two children around the kitchen table.

Julie holds a Master of Arts degree from Old Dominion University in professional writing, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Elementary Education from The College of William and Mary.  She has four years invested in the field of museum education, at The Maymont Foundation in Richmond and the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk.  She also has experience teaching both in the public schools and home school. Freelance writing while traveling abroad enables her to meet fun people and uncover the creative ways God is on the move in their lives.
